Thanks to Richard Berg for presenting the Descendants of Yost Yetter who married Christina Fogel and settled in Walpack, Sussex Co., N.J. There are some connections between the Fogel family and a Pennsylvania location where an earlier Yost Yotter and his family lived....but no proof, at this point, of any connections....see notes below.

"Attached is a gedcom file I prepared on the Yetter family, beginning with Jost Yetter, b. about 1740, a resident of Moore Township, Pa. I BELIEVE, based on info received from Harry Werner, who is mentioned in the "Unlinked Yoder Lines" (Part 1) of the Yodernewsletter, that this Yost was married to Eva Catherine Hubeler. Yost acquired his farm in Moore Twp by a land warrant dated 1785. I BELIEVE Yost had a son Yost, b. about 1770, based on church records from the Dryland Church and the proximity of the family and homestead. My wife is definitely descended from the son Yost Yetter, who married Christine Fogle (dau of Frederick Fogle) and lived in Lower Nazareth Twp. Frederick Fogle and his parents, John and Anna Barbara, attended the Dryland Church. Yost and Christine's daughter Mary married William Dunn, had Cyrus (we have his wife Mary Paddock's Bible), who had Amanda Alice, who had Mary (Mamie) Gariss Spangenberg, my wife's grandmother. You are welcome to print this Yetter info, which appears to fill in some blanks in your unlink1 document. I am looking for info on the original Yost of Moore Twp. and his ancestors. I know he donated the land for the Evangelical cemetary just outside Nazareth from part of his farm, and that his daughter Anna Marie is buried there with her husband Henry Werner. The deed transferring the land to Henry Werner gave Yost, Sr. a life estate. Do you have anything on Yost and Eva Catherine?

NOTE BY HARRY WERNER:
I have no problem accepting that his Jost YETTER-Christina FOGEL/VOGEL family connection probably originated in Lower Nazareth Twp. This includes baptisms at Drylands Church also in Lower Nazareth Twp and the
move to NJ.
I do however have concerns in accepting what I believe to beUNPROVEN conclusions on two other points: They are as follows:
1. Jost YETTER (b. abt 1770) is the son of Jost JOTTER (b. abt 1740). This remains UNPROVEN. He has correctly attributed a son John (b. 1759) to a Jost JOTTER family in Lebanon Co. Nowhere is it established the birth and
relationship of his Jost YETTER (b. abt 1770) to this same Jost JOTTER family.
2. Richard ASSUMES that the Jost JOTTER family of Lebanon Co 1756-1770, is the same family as that appearing in Moore Twp Northampton Co. in 1785 (Warrant). 1790 Census Moore Twp (1-1-1); Yost, assume wife, and male under 16y. Where are the females who were in Moorestown Records? Where is the John (b. 1759, Lebanon). They are not to be found in Northampton Co. What PROOF or documents have been found to support the belief that the 1759-70? Lebanon Co Jost Jotter family is the 1785 Northampton Co family.
Chris, I have been searching for a number of years to prove the Lebanon Co. and Northampton Co. JOTTER families are one and the same but without success. If anyone has PROOF that the assertions on these two
points are fact; I am eagerly awaiting to see it. Until then, I remain the skeptic.--Harry Werner

Notes from Harry C. Werner, 940 Cortez St., Denver, Colo 80221 Anna Maria
(Yutter) Werner is buried at the Evangelical Cemetary on the road from
Nazareth to Morrestown in Bushkill Twp. Northampton County Pa. along with
her husband Heinrich Werner. Obituary: "Der Christlicher Botschafter of the
Evangelical Church; issue dated 09 Feb. 1853; Maria Werner, Gattin von
Heinrich Werner, starb in froher Hoffnugg des evigen Lebens den 8 Jan. bei
Nazareth, Northampton Co., Pa., im Alter von 88 Jahren weniger 5 Tage. Vor
18 Jahren fand sie den Herrn zum Troste inher Seele. Vor 16 Jahren fand
unser werther Bischof Seybert bei ihnen Aufnahme, und seither war ihr Haus
immer offen fuer die Knechte und Kinder Gottes. Sie hinterliess nabst ihrem
Gatten 7 Kinder, 45 Enkel and 46 Urenkel. Fr. Kroecker. Translation:
Maria Werner, wife of Heinrich Werner, died in happiness hoping for
(looking forward to) the eternal life, on Jan. 8, (1853), near Nazareth,
Northampton Co., Pa. She was 88 years old less 5 days. 18 years ago, to
the comfort of her soul, she found the Lord. 16 years ago our worthy
Bishop Seybart found a place in their home and since then there always was
a place in her home for the servants and children of God. She left behind,
besides her husband 7 children, 45 grandchildren, and 46
great-grandchildren. Fr. Kroecker. Although the Demois Geneology shows
Anna Maria Yutter to be the wife of Heinrich Werner, no trace of the Yutter
family has been found prior to or after Anna Maria in Church or census
records in Pa. or N.J. including various spelling variations. Obituary:
Werner, Maria, Wife of Henry Werner. Married 61 years, 10 months, 15 days.
Died -- in Upper Nazareth, February 8, 1853, aged 88 years, less 5 days.
(Argus). Note: A difference of 1 month between the two obituaries.
