looking for the parenst of c.c. yoder, he was married to margaret ann cannon, c.c. yoder and his family was listed in knox county morgan township in 1850. then in 1870, and 1880 they were listed in mercer county harrison township mo. c.c. yoder died in 1892 and is buried in the goshen cemetery, in mercer county mo. c.c.yoder and margaret ann had nine children. margarets mothe was listed with them in the 1850 and 1870 census.

I am the great grandson of Jacob D. Yoder, he is the son of David C Yoder, and was born ing 1847 died in 1939. My grandmother, Mary Yoder, was his second child, and I knew him very well as I was 17 when he died. I grew up in the Conway, KS., McPherson, KS., area where many of them lived. He left the Amish church when they moved to Kansas in the 1880's and was a founder along with my Great Uncle Jacob Mishler of the Monitor Church of the Brethren, Conway, KS.

I am very pleased to see such a fine foundational work of Yoder surname. I have recently found a grand aunt named Fanny Yoder Cross that married David "Sherman" Cross between years 1895-1897. Fanny was born (daughter of Ananias and Susan Stutzman Yoder) January 23, 1878 at Parnell; Johnson County; Iowa. She passed away May 16, 1897 at Parnell ; Johnson County; Iowa. Many do not know that she was ever married!! I am attempting to discover where she was buried, if the couple had descendants and whatever happened to grand uncle David "Sherman" Cross after her death. I have put up some research that extends the OH132813 line, Lewis D. Yoder, on my personal web site. I found Lewis D. Yoder in the 1910 census with two children, Annie and my grandfather, Earl. I added only some of my grandfather's children largely because I don't know the names of those who never came to California. I, of course, added my father and his children to the list. YR2 is probably buried in the Northkill Amish cemetery in Berks County, just west of Hamburg, Pa in back of the Bishop Jacob Hertler property..

YR23 is believed to be buried in the old Yoder cemetery, north of Brotherton, Somerset Co, Pa. It is in the middle of the Zubek strip mine.His son John who purchased the Somerset homestead is in one of the few marked graves in this plot.

I don't recall hearing any speculation about where YRB is buried.
